CURRENT INITIATIVES

Education is at the core of economic and social progress, providing people and countries with the ability to create better opportunities. In recognition of this, ACG has allocated US$ 350 million towards Smart Education Financing in collaboration with the Global Partnership for Education. The ACG SmartEd facility aims to educate 175 million children in 37 countries, with a vision to enroll the first 88 million children in school by 2025. The funds will support the development of strong and resilient education systems so that more children in developing nations have access to the education they need to thrive. A more robust education system will create a lasting impact on the economic footprint of the beneficiary countries.
