H.E. Mr. Abdullah Khalil Al-Musaibeeh
President of the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa - BADEA
H.E. Mr. Abdullah Khalil Al-Musaibeeh assumed his position as President of the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa on July 1, 2025.
Before joining BADEA, he served as Director of the Operations Department at the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, where he progressed through several senior positions since joining the Fund in 1993. These positions included Regional Director for Asia and the Pacific, Latin America and the Caribbean, and the Arab countries, in addition to serving as Deputy Director of Operations.
His Excellency has also served on numerous boards and participated in many committees of Arab and International funds, including the Board of Directors of the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa, and Al Aqsa Fund.
Mr. Al-Musaibeeh brings with him more than three decades of extensive experience in Development Cooperation, International Finance, and Institutional Operations. He is widely recognized for his high level of competence in managing development operations with African, Arab, and International countries. He has also participated in many international conferences in the fields of management, negotiation, and technical reporting.
Mr. Al-Musaibeeh holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Kuwait University.
